In this assignment, we had to write out a memory in our life that effected us the most. By using descriptive words and transitioning, we are trying to tell a story that allows the audience see to growth of the narrator by showing how literacy, language, culture, or maturity changed their outlook on life.

- ▪ A well-told story. A traditional story follows a narrative arc. Set up a situation that needs to be resolved and makes the reader want to continue reading.
- ▪ Vivid detail. Stimulate the senses of your reader by giving specific details of the event and the surrounding environment.
- ▪ An indication of narrative significance. Make clear why this moment matters to you and show what impressions your experience left on you. What meaning do you want the reader to take away regarding your experiences?
